I'm a mother of a 5 year old wonderful boy and work as a cashier in a convience store. The work can sometimes be hard and fast pace. I go home very tired at the end of the day. I love people and I think that reflects in how I treat my customers. I have many friends that are customers and am also friends with the local police. Alot of people come in are repeat customers because of the friendliness I try to show them. It makes them feel good and like they have a friendly place to go. I get to know people and they like that and I like it also. Sometimes life is tough and I think you can make a difference with a word, a smile or a laugh with someone.

A customer gave me tickets to a show the other day. It was so nice but I wasn't shocked because people are good like that and I make friends and in turn they do these kinds of things. I have alot of aquaintences through this job that I feel are my friends. I have customers that flirt innocently or just come in to tell me how things are in their life. I like the store to feel like a place everyone feels welcome and comfortable and to me it does also when others feel that way. :)

Feeling comfortable, fresh, and my mood is important in a job like this.

I'm a mother and I spend as much quality time with my child as possible. I think that is very important. He is a fabulous person and I'm privledged and happy to be his mom! He is my number one priority on the planet and I want to give him all that I can. I like to be fresh and happy on my days off so I can do this and every little bit that makes that possible is great!
